Ashley Church

 

At 46 years of age Ashley Church has a record of consistent and outstanding achievement in a wide variety of corporate, community and political roles.

 

After standing as the National Party candidate for Napier at the age of 22 he went on to spend 9 years as a Napier City Councillor - making him the youngest person ever elected to that Authority and allowing him the opportunity to exercise significant influence over Civic, Economic and Community development in Napier during that time.

 

Since 1998 he has forged a formidable corporate career having achieved stunning results as CEO of the Auckland Property Investors Association; Corporate Business Manager for a large NZ Computer Company; National Sales and Marketing Manager of Pulse Energy and Just Energy; National Sales Manager for Mercury Energy and National Sales Manager for Farmers Mutual Group.

 

His community credentials include past roles as Chairman of PropertyPlus, National Council Member of New Zealand Jaycees, Creator and Organiser of the Hawke's Bay Summer Festival, and Organiser of the 1985 North Shore Telethon Centre. He is also a past Director of the Hawke's Bay Airport, Marineland of New Zealand and the National Aquarium.

Ashley is regularly consulted by media in relation to Property and Energy industry matters. He has appeared on 'My House, My Castle', 'NZ Open Home', and 'ASB I want to Buy a Home'.
